Too Old For What?!

First bit of advice: never take any article written that uses an unnamed “corporate spokesperson” as its primary source to be a very credible piece.

I said to my husband this morning, as I sipped on my coffee and scanned a few bits and pieces online before work that I felt a rant coming on over something published on Yahoo. OK, second piece of advice: never take anything published as “news” on Yahoo as credible. They make those bitter and self-indulgent Carrie Bradshaw wannabes at Cosmo look like they stand a chance at a Pulitzer for investigative journalism.

The article which raised my ire was entitled “You’re Too Old To Wear That.” Another fluffy piece that suggests women must adhere to specific style standards as they climb the chronological ladder. And the primary “expert” was someone from a company that specializes in anti-aging skin care.

Apparently, a study conducted by said “skin-care company” found one third of the 2,000 women they polled (all of whom were over 45) worried that some items in their wardrobe were age-inappropriate, and 80 per cent felt they “needed to abandon 'younger' styles as they grew older.”

“We think middle aged is supposed to be later, but women are saying that in the early 40s a lot of things need to be toned down,” the unnamed corporate source said.

Now, before you think the top of my head is going to blow off, there are some things that I do agree should be retired. Anything that can be mistaken for a sequined napkin being passed off as a miniskirt might be best saved for those “special club nights” and not the office. And I know you guys will all be disagreeing with me, saying a miniskirt is the perfect choice for work, but a lot of offices have these things called “policies” and they’re usually written by stuffy women with self-esteem and feminism issues who subscribe to articles such as this as “workplace attire gospel.”

If there is anything superficial that I get compliments on, it is my legs – and I am proud of the fact that I have the kind which will serve as pleasant distractions for many of you guys. Forgive my moment of vanity, but damn it, I enjoy the attention … particularly “at my age.”

Believe it or not, there are quite a few of us that are perfectly comfortable with our ability to provide a visual distraction. Looking sexy – and seeing that others are noticing you looking sexy – helps us feel sexy, which in turn fuels a lot of what goes on in our imaginations. It’s also a magnificent method of dealing with work-related stress.

Maybe that’s just because I love to flirt.

And, I am intelligent enough to match wits with the best, so this isn’t a habit of compensation or leverage to “get ahead” in a “man’s world.” It’s more in tune with having reached an age where my appreciation for playing the part has greater depth; and the fact that I couldn’t really care less what the majority of my female peers have to say about the length of my skirt or the height of my heels.

The disappointing aspect of articles like these – beyond being “sponsored” by corporations that market anti-aging products to women – is that they add to the societal confines already placed on women. The messages say “you’re too old to wear anything above the knee” and “you’re too old for that colour of lipstick.”

Women should be celebrating their confidence as they “get older.” I am in a much more comfortable place at 38 than I was at 28, and at 18. And as such, I get to enjoy the benefits of that confidence even more. To sit back and think that in three years I need to hide my miniskirts and start shopping for sensible shoes is ridiculous.

In fact, in three years I hope everyone around me will be staring in disbelief with “Damn she looks hot for her age.”

But even if they don’t, I won’t care. I’m not defined by silly notions concocted by the marketing departments and “corporate spokespeople” at companies which sell anti-aging products.

THE OTHER SUGGESTED SILLINESS
  • knee-high boots should be retired by age 45
  • tattoos start to look bad by the mid-50s
  • ditch high heels by the time you are 59
  • hair braids only in your 20s
  • pants that say "pink," or anything, for that matter, on the butt
  • stop wearing light, short, flimsy dresses as the upper thighs...change...with age

The Real TMI To Yesterday's Questions

If you happened to stop by yesterday, you would have read my questions to the answers that the folks behind TMI Tuesday provided this week. Of course, if you have been paying attention to me over the past two years, you will know that I'm not one for short answers.

And even though the questions were created on the fly, I thought it might be kind of fun to dig a little deeper into the answers - because I think I have figured out that you seem to enjoy really getting into the naughty corners of my mind.

1. When using a dildo with your partner, where is the most likely spot it will end up?
It all depends on exactly how the dildo became involved in the moment - and which dildo in my collection it is. Not too long ago, my husband bought me a new toy, strictly intended to be used for anal play during intercourse. He knows just how much the idea of being penetrated in front and back gets me extremely hot and bothered. It's a huge fantasy that we often like to play with.

However, I do own a couple of larger dildos that aren't exactly suited for that same purpose. As much as I like to think about being taken in both holes, some things are just a bit too large to make it a wild experience. Those particular toys are more than likely to be used as "torture" devices by my hubby as he torments the hell out of my pussy - and mind - with them.

2. What is the one accessory you can wear on a date to make sure you wind up getting laid?
Without question, my husband loves me in high heels. And I have learned that when I feel the need or desire for a little sexual attention, slipping on a pair of sexy stilettos is one way to guarantee I will get some.

I still remember when I first learned that my husband had a bit of a footwear fetish. At the time, we were still dating and I had borrowed a friend's pair of boots that I happened to like. At the end of the evening I was on my back, heels in the air, having an awesome time ... and would always have a little smile when I would see my friend wearing them, wondering what she would think if she knew what I did in them.

3. What is the one physical reaction you expect your answer to Question 2 will produce in your date for the night?
Let's just say that I pretty know just how I can turn my husband on without doing too much ... a sexy little dress, a great pair of shoes and a naughty little glance will help me turn get him hard and stiff. And for those women who somehow think doing something like that is tiresome or beneath them, ie: "Why should I have to do something like that?" ... you have totally missed the lesson on seduction, and the rewards it brings.

4. What is something that you partner might say in bed that would put a damper on your sexual enthusiasm?
As I mention below, sex doesn't always have to be a serious occasion. Some fun, laughter and light-heartedness is also a good thing. However, short of referring to me by someone else's name in the height of passion or throws of orgasm, probably the one thing that would put me off is if a guy is talking to himself. The funny answer given by the folks at TMI was “By George I think he’s got it!” For me, that would be just way too weird. First, the George I know in my real life is not all that ... and secondly, it would be hard to get visions of Eliza Doolittle out of my mind.

If you don't know who she is, try reading Pygmalion by ... wait for it ... George Bernard Shaw. Or renting My Fair Lady, the musical movie version of the same story.

5. Sex doesn't always have to such a serious thing. What is the last thing you wore to bed that made your partner laugh?
I find it amusing when I meet people who believe that sex has to be this serious, mind-blowing experience every single time. When you spend many years with the same person, you learn that sex can be fun on many different levels, from the excitement of newlywed sex through to exploring and pushing the relationship envelope inside the bedroom, it doesn't have to ever be "the same old thing."

In my relationship, we have shared tears over sex and laughs. One of the funniest moments came when I was in college and my boyfriend (who became my husband) stayed over. Canadian winters can get a little cold, and the house I was sharing with my roommates wasn't always at a tropical temperature. I was wearing a pair of wool socks to keep my feet warm when he brushed my feet with his and then said in a pretend sexy voice "Oh baby, I love how you wear things to turn me on."

It was a very hysterical moment for me at the time ... but I have since stopped wearing thick wool socks to bed.

6. When using a washroom in a public place, what is the one thing that will make you risk wetting yourself instead of just going?

There is part of me that is intrigued by the idea of a glory hole experience. The anonymity of the situation, the thrill of doing something I happen to love doing - giving oral sex - is a turn on. However, despite the reality of what a glory hole is, I would still want the security of it being a safe and clean experience.

That said, slipping into most public bathrooms is a test for even the most relaxed germaphobe ... and if I see anything that remotely looks like a peephole, you can be guaranteed I will risk the kidney stones, and hold it until I can pee somewhere less disgusting.

Bonus:
What would you say to your partner when they accidentally discover your collection of Playgirl magazines?
I don't think I ever really got into Playgirl magazine all that much until later in life. I wasn't particularly drawn to pictoral porn; opting for the more erotic approach of the written word. Now, I have no objection to seeing photos of hot naked men with 0% body fat and hard and stiff ...

But I also don't have much reason to hide any of that.

So, the real truth behind my question to the answer: I hid them there so you wouldn’t find them ... relates a lot more to where I store my AA batteries, and how I keep them tucked away for my own battery-operated fun so that my Little Men will not find them and use them for silly things like their remotes for the video game system.

Spiked | My Collection of Bedroom Heels

Last week I mentioned the idea how women actually do have panties that only come out off the lingerie drawer when they know sex is likely to happen. I also have no issue with admitting to owning a number of pairs, myself. Come on, if you haven't figured out by now, I love to get laid and those panties are more likely to get worn out than just worn.

I also have panties that I will wear when I have a sneaking suspicion that they may get noticed, but sex may not be on the immediate agenda ... such as those naughty little flashes to men who may not get the immediate opportunity to get their hands on them.

So it isn't that much of a stretch to accept that I also have certain shoes and boots that never come out in public - except maybe on my website.

As I mentioned just a couple days ago, I know that men tend to be visual creatures. And what the see can have a very positive effect on their libido. One of the fetishes that my husband has is a love of high heels and boots on me. In a way, I am hugely lucky because when it comes to footwear, there is rarely an argument if I want to get some new shoes ... and he also has no issues buying some for me if something catches his eye.

What that has also meant is my collection - while not quite Imelda Marcos worthy - has a substantial variety of heels, boots and somethings I don't know how to describe. Within that collection there are also some pairs that just don't make sense for the kind of work environment I spend my days in. Especially since the offline me does not really have the same brazen sexuality as the online me.

Hot pink vinyl thigh high boots just don't go with scrubs and a lab coat ... trust me.

When I started on my website, one of the first things we did was invest in some stilettos that would be a little more sexy than the normal dressy shoes I would wear to work. The heels are a little higher, which makes walking in them very difficult. Quite honestly, pretty much most of them barely have any wear on the soles. It's hard to scuff them up when they spend most of the time pointing to the ceiling.

Now, as I began to get a lot more comfortable with my sexuality and my adventure began to really take off, my personal comfort with fashion began to relax and open up. The more I stepped out of my shell and felt sexy, the more I began to explore the idea of dressing that way. My husband was a great motivator in all of this - and a tremendous shopper. He truly spoiled me as miniskirts, flirty tops, boots, dresses all began to take over my closet.

And with that came the realization that the right kind of footwear can be a great motivator towards getting laid.

So, these days I own quite a few pairs of heels and boots that I know will make the guys at work pause and look ... and the guy at home make me point them at the ceiling. Well, unless we do it doggy-style. Some heels I have discovered create the perfect angle of my butt and hips.

Here's some more sexy heels for a Happy Hump Day!

Andee's Five Reasons To Wear A Mini

Hopefully you guys have been enjoying my ongoing photo series Miniskirt Mondays. I plan on keeping it going as long as I have the photos - and legs - to keep you interested.

The miniskirt rose to popularity in the 1960s, and is supposed to be a representation of our liberation from the stereotypes that exist. Now, since this is some 50 years later, I'm not one to cling to stereotypes, but I will agree that the mini is an excellent fashion statement that is directly tied to our sexual freedom ... and for some of us, a key strategy when exploring our sexual freedom.

So as we were picking a few of the photos for the next several updates, my husband suggested I write something about why I personally choose to wear them.

Now, keep in mind that some of what you see in my photos will never be seen at the office, the grocery store or hockey arena. And, those that do see the light of day in my more “public” life may not clock in as short as some of those micro-minis some younger women are getting away with.

Andee's Top 5 Reasons To Wear A Mini

1. Fashion
Probably the most logical idea of the bunch, wearing a miniskirt is very much n vogue these days. A miniskirt has almost timeless allure and can be worn in almost any situation - from the office to the beach. So, in keeping with modern fashion, it is appropriate for a number of different occasions. On top of that, wearing the right style can be an exceptionally flattering line for the curves of a woman’s body. Being shorter than most supermodels, I find that long skirts make me appear even shorter than I am, which is not even remotely flattering. The trick is to ensure the skirt is properly complemented by the right shoes … or boots.

2. Attention
At the risk of coming across vain, I love the looks and compliments. To catch a  man stealing a peek might offend some women, but it drives me crazy in a very good way. You know, there comes a time in a woman’s life when she has to come to terms with the fact she is no longer 18. To realize that, after childbirth and age have started to enforce their will, you can still turn the heads of a man that is not your husband is an incredible emotional thrill. Even though we may be married and happy, we need to know that we still have some sexuality left in us. I’m also lucky that I have a partner who is extremely encouraging in me pursuing this. And with that encouragement and the confidence it gives me as a woman … well … a happy and horny wife puts a smile on the husband’s face and a twitch in his trousers.

3. Confidence
Is it cliché for me to say, I wish I knew then what I knew now? If I knew what I know now when I was young and had a killer body, my wardrobe would have been remarkably different. That said, experience in life is what brings out the confidence in a person. Now that I am in my sexual prime, I enjoy the experience of wearing a mini - and am thankful I have the legs to work it. And with the attention, comes the confidence. And with the confidence comes the power! A miniskirt pair with the right footwear allows me to carry myself with that more obvious sense of authority and being in control - an even better position to be in when it comes time for those employee performance reviews!

4. Economics
I’m not suggesting that less fabric in a miniskirt translate to less money spent on clothing, but I am saying that money does come into play. Here’s my thinking on that: I have a great deal invested in my underwear; some of which I have bought, some of which my husband and some of which was sent to me by you guys. If I hid all that sexiness under long skirts, where no guy ever had the chance of seeing a peek of those naughty knickers, it would be an economic disaster.

And in case you are wondering: some days those little peeks at our panties is totally intentional on our behalf. Seriously. I don't spend $35 on a wisp of pink lace just for my own pleasure.

5. Opportunity
Finally, let’s not kid ourselves here … a miniskirt simply provides even easier access when certain opportunities present themselves. And, although I could go on with all the reasons why those opportunities are worth jumping on, or about the thrill of going commando and knowing that there is only a few inches of fabric between my bare pussy and a guy seeing all the business, let’s just leave it with this: at this point in my life and sexual adventure, I am not willing to let any opportunity pass me by!

While I could have checked the standards of choice with my household miniskirt lover, I sought the insight of someone who has spent a great deal of time getting to know me online, my friend Matt. He cares about you guys too, because he has been kind enough to send me sexy items to wear …including those stockings that I put to great use for one of my naughty Twitter moments and photo updates.

This is what Matt says about a woman in a mini: As a leg man, he loves to see a sexy pair of legs, that hint of exposed thigh and how a nicely-fitting miniskirt accents a woman’s butt.

So, who am I to argue with you guys?

Teasing | Working It For a Stranger

I had every intention of getting this posted yesterday for you guys but Blogger for some reason wasn’t playing along. It might have something to do with half of the city being without power after some pretty nasty weather. One guy even described the hail as being as big as Timbits …only in Canada, eh!

Crazy weather…which is a suitable analogy for my crazy lifestyle these days. Well, a tornado might be a better comparison than Timbit hail.

This was something that a guy asked me a while back and I’ve been putting some thought to it along the way. He was asking me to share an experience where I intentionally teased a complete stranger, and things like my website and Twitter did not count.

So for me, I was thinking that I wouldn’t get too much into this summer’s silliness with flirting contests and such, but rather visit one of those memories that I think was a turning point for me on this sexual adventure.

You’ve already read about the moments where my bisexual curiosities came bubbling to the surface, and that small moment of regret I have where I could have taken a bit more control, but drunkenly let the moment slip. Well, this is from the same conference, the previous year. And it’s funny because I’m starting to wonder how we ever managed to take in any of the education from the sessions each year.

I had bought this great brown suede skirt and stiletto boots to wear. On the first night of the conference - before the crazy really set in - my co-worker and I made our way down to the keynote dinner. It was a somewhat dull affair - as can be the case at these events - so after everything had wrapped up, we were in need of a drink. Instead of hanging out with a bunch of frumpy women in sensible shoes discussing the scientific aspect of the speaker’s presentation, we headed off to the hotel bar with the idea of loosening things up.

The great thing about where this conference is held each year is that it is in a hotel attached to an international airport - and that means lots of hot guys passing through for business.

So there we were in the lounge, thinking we were hot stuff, and basically just washing away some of the day’s work and stresses from back home. So much like the stereotype stories, a little bit into the evening a couple of drinks show up for us from a few guys sitting in lounge. Now, at this point in my life my level of flirtatious bravery was pretty minimal as I was just really beginning to discover myself and my desires, but my co-worker has one of those great attitudes about life and it wasn’t a minute later that I am following her to where the guys were sitting.

The conversation was pretty typically for a bit - what we were doing there, what they were doing there, etc. - and as the night continued on a couple of the guys went to their rooms, leaving just these other two guys, my friend and I to carry on. I guess those boys figured there was no chance of bedding a couple of pharma science geeks - especially with the gold bands we were sporting on our left hands.

But for the four of us left behind in the comfy chairs, none of us was feeling any pain and a lot of the inhibitions had softened. One guy and I were getting into quite the conversation. Like me, he was married, so in a way I felt no threat or ulterior motives and the drinks were making it easy to be a lot more open.

At one point he commented on my boots - a flirtatious move, for sure. I hadn’t really been paying too much attention to myself, but as I looked down to my legs after his compliment I realized that my already short skirt was riding pretty high. In fact, given the chairs we were sitting in, I had no doubt that the guys would had been sitting across from me had been getting an awesome look at my panties when my legs weren't crossed.

I would have thought my friend would have said something, but she was really into her own conversation with the other guy…and as I learned the next year, she was also probably enjoying the view herself.

So, what’s a girl with more than a couple Caesars in her system to do? Some would pull the hem down, but no, not Andee at this point. I did one of those stretch-one-leg-straight-out moves so this guy could get a really good look at my boots - and an awful lot more leg than was originally intended at the start of the whole night.

And this all opened the door for the conversation to go in a more intriguing direction.

As we got more and more comfortable with each other, the innuendo got a bit more racy, until the point where we were openly discussing sexual preferences, experiences and fantasies. I found myself sharing some pretty intimate thoughts ranging from why my favourite sex position is that particular one to the craziest places I had done it. I think I may have dropped the idea of being picked up in a hotel bar by a complete stranger for a night of anonymous sex, but that may be just my shaky memory ...

Anyway, there comes a point where things shut down, so as we wrapping up our night in the lounge and those responsible little voices in the back of our heads say “time for bed married women,” my new friend said a polite goodnight and how nice it was meeting us, yada yada. I took the opportunity for what I thought at the time was a pretty bold move, took one of his hands in mine, leaned in and gave him a little peck on the cheek. In my hand I had passed him a piece of napkin on which I had written the address to my website.

“That’s just in case you want to see more of me,” I whispered before trying my best “I know you are watching my ass in this miniskirt” walk out the door towards the elevators.

I went and quietly masturbated in the bathroom ... He joined a couple days later …

Footwear | Get On Your Boots

Oh how I like Fridays … today is a bit of a special one, both good and bad. Today is my youngest son’s birthday (good); he is turning 11 (bad). As a parent, you want to keep them “little” and not have them grow up too fast - as they seem to these days. It also reminds me that as his birthdays pass, so do mine.

If you caught my photo update today on my Flirting Contest page you will have seen that today is mini-dress and boots day for me. The start of the contest did not go down as my husband had hoped, but he was working against some circumstances that frustrate him - work-appropriate attire for me shifts each week as the daily tasks rotate through the staff. I’m sure he has visions of me being able to tart it up every day, but that’s not realistic. And temperature. It’s still bloody cold up here these days and I‘m not slipping on some flimsy blouse, a skirt that doubles as a tea-cozy and a pair of stilettos last used to aerate the lawn.

Today, his competitive nature in all of this has seen me in a little more “flirt-worthy” outfit. I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed yesterday, but more because of all the effort he is going to just to prove that short hair can be sexy. I think I have reached a point with my Office Guys to where they are no longer shocked into flirtatious flattery, so getting a compliment from a group of guys who have discussed the finer art of panty selection with me is a big challenge (sorry sweetie, but it’s true). Tonight, though, I think will produce different results as I have to go straight from work to the hockey arena for one of my Little Men. My hubby has his money riding on horny hockey dads to even the score for the week. I’m counting on my boots and the flash of leg between them and the hem.

Anyway …

I have an online friend that I chat with on a regular basis who is an absolute boot fanatic. Whenever I see him on Yahoo Messenger I know we will eventually chat about boots. Over the few years we have been chatting, he has given me some great ideas for updates to keep you boot lovers getting your fix. One of the last times he suggested I blog about why I think men are obsessed with the look, and how that relates to me.

My end of why I like boots is pretty easy: I think they are sexy because they add a bold and confident look to a woman, and I love the utter hormonal overdrive they put my husband in when I wear them. Most of the time when I want to wear heels, my boots are much more comfortable that those sexy little strappy stilettos.

I had pretty much forgotten about when I first learned of my husband’s boot fetish until I began thinking of how I could write about it. Back before we were married I had borrowed a girlfriend’s pair of boots to go with this new outfit I had. Well, the outfit was a big hit … I wonder if my friend knows I had her boots pointing to the ceiling that night ;-)

Kinky and fun … I think that was the real beginning of me seeing how sexy footwear can turn up the heat.

As for why you guys find boots so fascinating; that is a tough one for me. So, I asked around a bit to see what it is that some of the men I know that aren’t my husband think about a pair of sexy boots.

The frequent, but ambiguous, response was “they look sexy” and “I’m a leg man, I love women in heels and skirts.” That didn’t really help me get to the nitty-gritty on the subject though.

One of the older guys I work with had a great answer, and this is where it really began to pick up for me. He explained that he spent his teenage years in the 1960s, when go-go boots were the rage. For him seeing more women wearing knee-high boots today takes him back to his youth, and the fond memories of miniskirts and dance clubs. He said it was back in a time when women used to pay a lot more attention to being stylish. These days everything is so “casual.” Personally I’m starting to see us edge away from that “every day is casual day” but I certainly knew what my co-worker was getting at.

Then a couple of my Office Guys chimed in on it … and they owe me lunch for wearing my boots today … boots on an attractive woman send men a message of sexual mystery and possible “wild child” habits. Depending on the style, they can convey a sense of daring and eroticism or a hint of dominance and power. Interesting. Either they read my blog and know too much about me, or subconsciously I have fallen into their perspective.

Boots, they say, make us walk different … well, all heels do. But the guys say they love to watch how we “strut” when we’ve got some power heels on versus the days when Reebok is our fashion statement. Which is pretty relevant too, because another point that came up was how we dress all together when we select a pair of boots. It usually means we are putting some serious thought into our appearance that day, wanting to look attractive, powerful, confident and mysterious all at once.

The homerun look, they say, has to be done properly. These days a number of women are wearing boots with tights and long sweaters; almost dress-style. The guys say that if she has the shapely legs and killer ass, the look rocks. I agree … which is why I have added more squats and hamstring curls to my workouts. I want my 18-year-old boobs back and my varsity butt and hard-steel calfs.

The clincher, however, is they want to see a woman with sexy knee-high boots, with a heel, wearing a skirt that reveals about six to 10 inches of flesh. That sends their perverted minds back to the “wild child” or, as one of them suggested (or requested … still trying to figure it out) the “let’s hit the supply closet and let me hike that hem from behind.”

Hmm … subtle. Trust me, there are a few of us on this side of the skirt that would also like six to 10 inches of flesh in the supply closet.

Over time, my own fascination and interest in boots has grown to the point where I have probably close to 20 pairs scattered around my personal den of iniquity. Some see the light of day, while others only ever point skyward. (Well, not entirely … almost all of them end up on my website.)

And if you really did check out my Flirting Contest photo today … yes, I am not wearing panties.

And John … black trouser socks, or the boots will never come off.

Image Challenge | What Is The 'Ideal?'

There was an article on Yahoo this morning saying how one-third of women would give up at least one year of life to be “thin.” The results were from a British survey done recently and initially published in an article in the Daily Mail.

While I am not surprised by the result, I am a bit disappointed. The survey says that these women are in pursuit of the ideal body – but it doesn’t really explain what that is other than dropping the names of a couple celebrities. I guess we can go on what society indicates as the size-0 actress with millions of dollars to spend on personal trainers or what health experts suggest as the appropriate body mass index for age, height and race.

The Daily Mail
But I think the results are more revealing about our societal standards when it comes to the perceived “perfect” body.” Deeper in to the report, it suggests that 93 per cent of women have had “body-conscious” issues over the past week – now that I can buy.

“This really highlights how important appearance is for women. Unfortunately, body weight and shape is seen as not only an indicator of how beautiful they are and also often of a marker of success in their life,” says one of the experts chiming in on the subject.

Since I have cut all my hair off, I have been in a constant battle with myself over the results. The vast majority of women I work with continue to compliment me on the new style – but in a “wish I had the courage to do that” kind of way. I mentioned to my husband that I, quite vainly, noticed that the guys don’t seem to notice as much anymore. I went through the “we need to start working out and change our diet” spiel.

For women, this is a huge conundrum. While some don’t like the ogling and flirting, there are many of us that do … and miss it when it stops. I don’t want you to “love me like a sister.” I want you to lust after me like a secret girlfriend. And yes, I’m all right with admitting that there is a hint of attention whore in me. I don’t want to be the one people don’t remember, or the shrinking violet from high school.

Yes, some of us are fickle that way.

And when we hit the points in life, we shrink into our image issues and begin to wonder if things have changed on a larger scale because we’re tipping the scale.

So yesterday I was telling my husband this, and he expectedly scoffed at my notions – and went to work on assuring me that I was mistaken. The problem, he says, is that I have lost my motivation to work for it anymore, like many women; lost the effort to work for your attention. I hated to admit he was right … it was the “I need chocolate now” moment of the day.

He says men can quickly distinguish between a woman that carries herself in a sexy and confident way versus a woman that is just on the hunt. The blue eye shadow is a dead giveaway … and in typical Mr. Andee fashion, he promptly issued a two-part challenge to me. I may have mentioned in past of his affliction for fashion, and so having gone through my closet and sorted out what I should be wearing to work, I now find myself on slightly dangerous, definitely edgy path – with motivation.

From now until Labour Day – six months – I have been challenged to use my days out of the lab as days when I must put maximum effort into style and appearance: an image challenge. The intent is for him to prove to my sometimes-doubting self-esteem that it’s not long hair that gets attention, but a variety of things.

(Of course, I know that … but guys, read into this how a spark in a relationship comes in many different, sometimes kinky, ways. Was it intentional on my part? No … but how can I not love a man that wants to dress me up and show me off without a hint of jealous possessiveness?)

And with each challenge comes consequence and reward. From tomorrow until the final day, any day in play will go down like this: if just one guy compliments my appearance, I must provide my loving husband with a little oral action that night. Conversely, if he fails in his bid to get guys to flirt shamelessly with me, then he owes me the return favour of a little tongue action.

Either way, it’s a win-win way to put a new spark into the relationship … not to mention some new CFMs if I tell him that they are an important part of fashion today.

On Fashion | 'Borrowed' Hints on Sexy

Hey guys, well not sure about where you are, but here we’re in the midst of a season change and pretty much everyone is desperate for some warmer weather. Late spring and early summer is really my time of year. I love the warmer weather, which means getting to show off a bit more style and fashion – without the humid summer making you sweat when you’re not doing anything worth getting all sweaty over.

So, as I was spending time this morning doing things I really shouldn’t have been doing, I copped out a bit on blogging some totally original thoughts and found some of interesting fashion advice I would throw your way to help get the girl of your dreams into some sexy outfits once the parka has been shelved. Not to mention, my Miniskirt Monday photo asks about “office distractions” and rumour has it, it’s something I’m very good at.

And just to make it interesting, I added my own little thoughts – not that I’m a fashion icon or anything like that. But I sometimes find some of this stuff is totally not for the average, everyday kind of person: five-inch heels might look great when they’re pointed to the ceiling, but you get a whole different look when you wear them for lunch with the CEO!

Six Items Every Woman Should Have

"While we can’t enough of shopping the hottest new trends of the season, we also know the importance of having a handful of wardrobe staples that are always in style—regardless of the season or the decade. Here are six items no closet should be without:"

1. Dark-Wash Denim
Finding the perfect pair of dark-wash jeans is like finding fashion nirvana! Not just easy-to-wear, they can also be dressed up or down, making them one of the most versatile items in your wardrobe repertoire. Don’t know whether to go for the skinny jean look or the wide-legged flairs of the moment? Either style works, but curvy figures find the best fit in boot-cut or wide-leg trousers, while slimmer frames feel their best in straight-legged or skinny jeans.
ANDEE SAYS: Why limit yourself to just one pair? Go for something in each style, plus right now guys, women are loving the knee-high boots so get her into some skinny jeans and take her boot shopping.
The Mandatory LBD

2. The Little Black Dress
Ever since Audrey Hepburn donned a sleek black dress for the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s look, the LBD has been hailed as the epitome of timeless style. A flattering black frock is not only appropriate for almost any occasion, it’s oh-so easy to throw on and look fabulous—instantly!
ANDEE SAYS: No self-respecting woman would be without one. I love mine ... LOVE! Here’s a tip for an incredible weekend night of sex; suck it up and go dress shopping with her. Have her try on tons of great dresses. You get to see her looking gorgeous all day, she feels like you notice … incredible electricity when the lights go down!

3. Nude High Heels
You already know that sky-high heels can do wonders for making a more svelte-looking you, but flesh-colored pumps are serious slimming miracle-workers. The neutral color is not only easy to match with just about anything, but also it creates the illusion of long legs by showcasing one continuous line all the way down to your toes. Keep a pair of nude pumps in your closet to ensure you’ll have the skinny on effortless, flattering style whenever you need it most.
ANDEE SAYS: Never been a fan of the “nude” colour in shoes. I asked a couple of high-heels loving experts I know (down boys, down) and their advice is funky, black stilettos … naturally. That said, I get more comments on my leopard print heels than most others. Maybe shoes might be the true opportunity to take some risks?
The Button-down Shirt

4. Oxford Shirt
Everyone needs a piece of clothing that provides instant polish with virtually no effort, and if there was ever a magical item that could do that, it’d the collared white Oxford shirt. The tailored lines and structured fit ensure you’ll look your most put-together whether you’re heading to an interview or running errands.
ANDEE SAYS: You know, I always thought guys would go for sexy lingerie, skin tight jeans, etc. As I have gotten a little older I have learned that outside of the bedroom and night club, the biggest “office distraction” is the very business-like button-down. White, black, red … when I’m want some attention away from home, these never fail me.

5. Pencil Skirt
The ever-flattering pencil skirt is the female version of the power suit. It does wonders for highlighting curves and elongating your lower half for a timeless and chic silhouette and is a must-have for any working woman or about-town gal!
ANDEE SAYS: Only if you’re taller than 5’5” … I’m short and these skirts make me look even shorter. Even with the killer heels.

6. Trench Coat
There’s not outerwear that’s better at highlighting a woman’s shape than the trench. It cinches and defines a waist, while the lapels and structured shoulders highlight a hourglass figure. Not only flattering, a trench can be worn from the first nips of crisp fall weather all the way through spring thaw!
ANDEE SAYS: They’re also necessary for those office fantasies … you know, where you just slip on a pair of sexy black thigh highs, heels and head to your man’s office for some serious desk-sex. You might want to think about that guys, buy her a classic one and she might just ditch that old Dale Earnhardt NASCAR jacket. Well, unless that’s your idea of sexy.

Proposal | Sleep My Way To The Top

Grrr … sitting here on the train, still in the station. It’s “supposed” to be the 5:15, but right now the clock says 5:24. And the conductor keeps making the announcement that it is the 5:15. Apparently not, people!

Ever have those long days when you just want to get home?

Anyway, lucky for me - and hopefully you - I have my little laptop and the batteries got lots of juice! And you know me and batteries with lots of juice! So, this question is something that was sent to me in an e-mail recently. I certainly hope it isn’t from the person in the actual subject …

If your boss promised you the promotion you were very keen to get but insisted that you spend a weekend with him, pleasing him sexually, would you agree?

Hmmm … intriguing proposition … now, to think.

I guess the my immediate response is back to what I said earlier - and I don’t have to worry about this being sent by my boss. My boss is a woman, so “pleasing him sexually” isn’t gender correct.

Do I Get The Job?
But all silliness aside, this is an interesting question. I have not been in a position like that in my career. I guess working in the environment I do currently doesn’t leave the door open for anything like that. We are unionized, so promotions are rarely based on individual performance. Sadly, almost all the time they are not even based on merit, but rather based on seniority. That said, I have positioned myself and my skills in such a way that I do have better qualifications should a promotion arise ... and make myself more attractive to a prospective employer without the need for a pair of heels and low-cut top.

However, I think my e-mailer wants to know more of the naughty side, and would I do something as such?

I do know someone who has admittedly used all her feminine wiles and talents to secure a better job. She was once a much closer friend than she is these days, but we’re still in touch via that dreaded Facebook, which has consumed my blogs of late. This person works in the broadcast industry and managed to manoeuvre herself into a more prominent on-air role after making some good impressions early in her career with some oral negotiations. While she is a friend, I can say her broadcasting talents aren’t equal to whatever position she used to secure the exposure she now has.

Meow …

At work I do tease my boss (the woman) about her own dealings with her boss (a man). Usually it boils down to “get yourself a new pair of CFM boots and slip on a short skirt!”

I doubt it happens … but we do laugh about it.

Do you sense some avoidance here? OK, just making sure.

This is kind of the Indecent Proposal theme, isn’t it? And when you get right down to it, most of us have a price. I’m personally torn because I have some inner reservations about how I earn some of my income now. I never intended to create a “job” out of an amateur porn site way back when my husband and I started taking naughty pictures. But in the nine years I have been doing it, I have been making a little something extra. That’s not really much a secret, nor is it a massive leap in establishing just what I would do for money.

Some would say I already have history, now we just need to know where the decimal goes.

Even if we are to look at the intriguing premise of such an indecent (job) proposal, and we look at the idea of just going away for a weekend with someone who isn’t my husband and basically fucking the whole time, at the end of it there is a financial aspect. The promotion would mean more money, maybe a big step up in career ambitions, higher up the ladder so to speak. But would you ever know if you were where you are career-wise because of your job skills or bed skills - trading “I‘ll get back to you“ for “I‘ll get on my back for you.“ Is it something that would ever matter? That just boils down to conscience and bravery.

I’m a twisted kind of woman these days, the deeper I get into writing about my thoughts, and constantly sharing what I am trying to say here during my bedtime editing with my husband, the more things become a little less black and white. I’m still trying to figure out is grey is OK, and is this what a 36-year-old woman should be behaving like?

So, would I spend the weekend sexually pleasing my boss in order to get the job promotion I really wanted? I think I’d need to see what he was bringing to the negotiations first!

Have a sexy weekend guys!

The Adventure Is Back On Track

Damn, it's cold out there this morning! You know, so cold the snow actually 'squeaks' underneath you. Brrr ... hopefully these will be some warmth thoughts for you.

I promised someone special I would write about my weekend and about how much fun I had at our friend's wedding. The bride was a friend I have played baseball with for a few years, and worked with a while back. Now, this isn't really so much about the wedding - because as you must know, most of the good fun happens at the after-parties! LOL

Things started out pretty innocently. I love getting dressed up for things like this, so I wanted to look good. I put on one of my favourite dresses and in the end I opted for a sexy pair of boots. Things are snowy enough here that sky-high stilettos are not the best choice and I didn‘t really find the pair I was looking for.

The evening progressed as it should, with a lovely dinner and the customary speeches by people who should not really give speeches. Tears, laughs, awkward silences ... Come on people, they’ve done this once already and we all know the secrets behind how they met!

When the music started and the drinks had been flowing for a bit, quite a few of us were enjoying this one couple dancing. They were young ... if she was 18 I need new glasses. Anyway, they were obviously enjoying the moment, doing some dirty dancing, leg humping, crotch grinding stuff most of the night. Completely inappropriate for a wedding, but if you knew my friend, the bride, you would also know that she would find it hilarious.

As the night progressed, and the dancing progressed, I was feeling no pain. My husband was making it difficult to maintain a sense of "prudence" as our "imitations" of this young couple was also - not exactly intentionally - putting me in the right mood for a bit more than just that. By the time the bride and groom were ready to leave, so was I!

One of the other couples invited us back to their place for a few drinks and such. It was still relatively early, so I figured we could go and still get home for a bit of fun myself. On the way over to their house my husband was teasing and tormenting the hell out of me. He “jokingly” reminded me that the last wedding we went to I was ‘commando’ because the dress revealed damn near everything. So, in the spirit of ‘wedding tradition’ I slipped mine off right there in the front seat. And this being January in freakin’ ‘Sno-ronto’ I told him he better keep me all warmed up. By the time we got to our friend's house, I was about as sexually frustrated as one can get.

For the most part, things were pretty typical while we were there ... just sitting and laughing about the young couple on the dance floor, etc. The guys went to play some pool in the basement while my other friend and I stayed in upstairs chatting. At one point she went and got me another drink and when she brought it over to me is when I got the surprise of ... not quite of a lifetime, but damn close.

I was sitting on a stool, they have this kind of "breakfast bar" setup in their house. The kind that divides the room. Earlier she had been sitting in the living room beside her husband on the arm of the chair. What I didn't realize was that from their angle, if I turned a certain way, they could see I was ‘commando.’ She's telling me this as she is standing right in front of me ... leaning in as if she was telling me a secret.

My first reaction - despite what you guys read and think - was total embarrassment. Until I felt her hand on my leg. Now, I've had a few bisexual experiences in my life, but I wasn't expecting this from her. I think my friend sensed my surprise, because she leaned in even more, kind of putting herself in between my knees as I sat on this stool, and put her mouth beside my ear and whispered "It's OK."

Of course, what she didn't know at that moment was I'm thinking, "Damn right it's OK." LOL

She was looking at me, in that close-in way, as if to try to read my mind as her hand gently stroked the inside of my knee - safe but still sexy I‘m sure she was thinking. I was definitely into this, so I tried to return a little of the surprise to her by initiating a kiss. Her lips were wonderful. I had never thought in all the times of playing baseball with her that she had any desires this way. I tend to talk and joke a bit too much sometimes, so I think the other women on my team have an idea that I’m not this naive little thing I try to pretend to be.

Anyway ... as we were kissing, she found that I was quite wet and turned on. Sadly, a quick little touch was about all I seemed to be getting and the rest of the evening proved to be just an incredible sexual frustration for me. When it came time for my husband and I to leave, as she was hugging me goodbye she told me that earlier in the night, her husband first thought I wasn't wearing any panties, and so he tried to sit where he could figure it out. When she was sitting with him, he was getting a clear view and was hard as a rock ...

On the way home I told my husband about what happened while they were downstairs shooting pool. he said "I know..." Apparently he and the other husband were "told" to make themselves scarce.

I've invited them over for this weekend ...

Stilettos | Hip Wiggles On The Hunt

Nothing like a great pair of shoes for a sexy weekend ...

Hey guys! Only a quickie for this very snowy Saturday morning. Hubby has one of my little men at hockey practice and when he gets home we’re off to find me a sexy pair of heels for the night. A friend of ours is getting married and, while I have the dress picked out, I felt like I wanted something fresh to go with it. Of course, hubby has a thing for high heels, and the prospect of some good times after the nuptials makes it easy to convince him to take me to the mall.

This is the second go-round for both bride and groom, so it’s not going to be one of those crazy Cinderella affairs (oops, maybe the wrong word … lol). I’m really looking forward to just going out and having a reason to celebrate with a few other couples we are friends with.
I absolutely LOVE these shoes!

The one thing I do love about weddings is getting all dressed up and going out and having a great time. Of course, that also means a delightful change in shoes - as I have to wear relatively sensible footwear at work. But a sexy set of stilettos also means a little prep work. This is something I found a while back and have been waiting for the right time ... and nothing like today!

When Marilyn Monroe had her stilettos made uneven heights to accentuate her hip-wiggle, she understood the power of high heels. Ridiculous, to be sure, but her point might have been this: If you're going to wear heels, wear them well.
  1. Posture is critical. Keep your spine upright and slightly arched, and shoulders back to avoid hunching over.
  2. Start with one foot coming out at a slight outward angle, striking with the heel first. As you walk, continue the heel-toe step.
  3. Minding your posture -- imagine there's a string in your head, pulling you up -- use your arms and hips to change the centre of rotation in your body. As your hips rotate one way, your shoulders should angle slightly the other way for balance.
  4. Shorten your stride. It's easy to spot someone unaccustomed to heels by her klumping, bouncing footfall and hunched back.
  5. Loosen up. It's all in the hips. If they're too stiff, your gait will be off and you'll end up off-balance.
  6. Start with shorter heels and wear them around the house, especially if they're new. Walking over a variety of surfaces like carpet and tile will help too.
  7. Carry bandages in your purse at all times.
Anyway ... done properly, that power of the high heel will translate into wobbly knees later on - and that has nothing to do with the actual heel!

More Sexy @ Work

Hey everyone, this seems to have become a pretty popular subject around here; probably because over the past year I’ve taken to dressing up again at work. Because I work in a medical field, I used to wear typical medical garb all the time – although more for comfort than need.

And if you've been following my Twitter for a while, you know I’ve grown tired of not looking a certain way. I think the way coworkers treat you is part of the way you dress. If you always look frumpy, you’ll get treated like a frump. And as I've migrated into my mid-30s - the sexual prime for a woman - I've been a lot more conscious of my style, attitude and, I suppose, my mannerisms and flirtatious nature.

So out of all that came this question a while back, and I've decided to revisit it here for my blog:

What is your favourite outfit that makes you feel really sexy – at work?

One of my sure-fire outfits is a particular black shirt I have. It has a zipper at the neck, and fits kind of snug. With the right bra, I know I can really get the looks. I know that sounds vain – and I guess it is, but when you feel like you’re sexy, and other people notice you, it makes you feel better about yourself. At least it does for me.

I match this with a pair of snug black dress pants and a pair of black dress shoes (sometimes with a narrow heel, other times with a more traditional style shoe). If I’m feeling particularly sexy, I might match the top with a really sexy silver skirt I have and a pair of black boots. But I have to be careful not to spend time near the cardiac ward…LOL...OK, truth be told I won't wear the skirt to work because it is just damn short. I like to save it for those occasions when I'm heading out to a club, or a little more upscale place to grab a drink.

Oh, and I know one or two of you many be wondering - yes, all of it goes over quite well at home too!

The Sexy 'Trick'

Hey everyone, I pieced this entry together from a couple different conversations that I've had with some of my sometimes-flustered Office Guys. I'm sure a lot of you have probably even been down this road as well - because fashion is always a great topic among men and women ... and a great way to tease.

What are some of the things/tricks you do to make yourself appear sexy?

I’m not sure I have any real “tricks” that I use. I definitely put a lot of thought into my outfit for the moment, including what I wear underneath that outfit. I think if you feel sexy, that shows to other people. Maybe it’s just a vibe, or look…but I think you can tell.

I suppose the one thing that I do pay a lot of attention to is my hair. My hair is naturally curly, so when I take the time to straighten it and get all made-up, I think that would be my trick. I also spend a bit more time on my make-up, doing it a bit more than what I would for my job, or something like that.

When I’m out, I try to look a little more confident than I really am. In all honesty, despite what you guys see on my website, I’m still a pretty shy person face-to-face. This stuff is my ongoing “coming out” experience; a part of me that most people don’t get to see or know about.

Also, if I’m feeling in the mood, and the night is going well, I guess I flirt a lot, and keep eye contact a little more than I normally would.

What's your favourite ‘come F-me outfit?’

Well, it changes from time to time. Since my husband is the one who actually buys me most of my non-work clothes, so much of it depends on his “fetish” at the time. But I can usually guarantee it involves some sort of skirt.

If I’m feeling like I really need to get laid after a night out, I wear a skirt. That’s the one thing that pretty much always drives my husband crazy. The coup-de-gras is if I put on a pair of boots. Sometimes he’s so easy ;~)

A Sure Thing ... ?
Some of you guys have already seen the one outfit that I really like, and feel very sexy in: the white tank-top & sheer blouse with the black skirt.. I really feel sexy in that set, and it’s one of those that can be either very revealing when I’m in the mood, or a little classy and still sexy when I need to be.

Also, I have a great suede skirt and matching sweater. I don’t think there’s any pics online yet, but I have a pair of boots that goes with it. That really makes me feel sexy. I remember wearing it out one time when I was at a work-related convention. My girlfriends and I were hanging out at the hotel bar, and I was definitely enjoying the attention we were getting. A few of the guys there joined us and we all had a lot of fun (and free drinks for us). By the end of the night, it was just one friend and I left with a bunch of these guys, and the drinks had certainly loosened everyone up. The conversation was very sexual and filled with innuendo – which is also a riot when it doesn’t cross the line.

The comments I got on my outfit, and the boots, and my legs were a real turn on for me. I know that sounds very vain – which really, I’m not at all. But when you’re married and have been with the same guy for 17 years, you really love the feeling of knowing other men still find you attractive.
